and maintain a fresh container to last through the cooler
fall months. We will provide the soil and workspace, and
clean up the mess. Bring in your own container from
home or purchase a new one. Great selection of cool
weather plants for you to purchase. Jessie will be available
to help you select plants and answer any questions
while you are creating your masterpiece! SPACE is limited

September 8th-18th is the average first frost date in our
area and your tender plants need to be brought indoors
before this cold weather hits. Join us to learn how to
properly prune, spray and repot your tropical plants.You
are welcome to bring in any houseplants you are having
trouble with for advice and maybe a little extra care!

Create a miniature house to decorate and keep inside or

FALL FESTIVAL
PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Please join us for a Wentworth Greenhouses’ Farmer’s
Market Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, September 25th.
Breakfast will be available for purchase from 10am to 12 noon.
The Black Bean Café, of Rollinsford, NH will be preparing
their famous cornmeal and whole grain pancakes.
OtherWentworth Greenhouses Farmers’ Market products
featured in the breakfast will include:
- Anderson’s Mini Maples’ New Hampshire maple syrup,
- Hackleboro Orchards’ fresh fruits,
- Lasting Legacy Farm’s farm-raised home made sausage, and
- Red Rover Coffee’s fresh roasted coffee.

prizes. Make sure to visit the haunted greenhouse and corn maze.
- Build a Scarecrow Station – $5 fee – make sure you bring
your own clothes to stuff! Kids sizes are the easiest to
work with. We’ll provide the straw and a face for you to
decorate!

- Pumpkin Bowling and more fun games to try!
- Beautiful Bees! 11:00-11:45. Learn all about bees from our
very own apiarist Julie! OBSERVATION BEEHIVE on display
all day long.

KIDS CLASS – $5 FEE
LEAF & FLOWER PRINTING
Bring in a t-shirt, pillowcase or other fabric of your choice
and create a cool design using fresh leaves and flowers.
Make sure you pre-wash your fabric and choose something
with a smooth surface for easy transfer. We will be
using fabric paint so please dress appropriately.

WENTWORTH GREENHOUSE SUMMER MARKETS MOVE TO SATURDAYS
We are moving our Summer Farmers’ Markets to Saturdays this year!
Starting Saturday, June 26th and running every Saturday through October 30th, the Markets will be held outdoors in the parking lot, from 10 am to 2 pm, with the option of bringing them indoors to one of the greenhouses during inclement weather.
